Just Projectors Pros & Cons
Pros
1
Specialization and Experience: Projectors.co.uk (Just Projectors) has been specializing in projectors for over 20 years, indicating deep expertise in the field. This experience can translate into knowledgeable advice and quality service for customers.
2
Free Advice: They offer free advice to help customers find the perfect projector, which is valuable for buyers who may be unfamiliar with projector technology or unsure about what model suits their needs best.
3
Affordable Options: Compared to large TVs, projectors generally provide a more affordable way to achieve very large screen sizes (100 inches or more) at a fraction of the cost. Entry-level 4K projectors combined with basic screens can cost around £1,000 or less versus several thousand pounds for similarly sized TVs.
4
Immersive Viewing Experience: Projectors create an immersive cinema-like experience due to their larger display sizes and adjustable screen options. This makes them ideal for home cinemas or presentations where a big image is desired.
5
Portability and Flexibility: Projectors are easier to move around or store compared to large TVs. The adjustable screen size also allows flexibility in placement depending on room size and setup preferences.
CONS
1
Brightness Limitations: One downside of projectors is lower brightness compared to TVs, which can affect viewing quality especially in well-lit rooms. This means ambient light control is often necessary for optimal picture quality.
2
Maintenance Costs: Projector maintenance can be costly over time due to lamp replacements and other upkeep requirements that do not typically apply with modern LED/LCD TVs.
3
Audio Quality: Built-in audio on many projectors tends to be inferior compared to TV speakers, often necessitating external sound systems for better audio performance during viewing sessions.
